@aniyah.green The first thing you need to know is that the length of your article should be dependent on the objective of your article. If your article has a call-to-action at the end, such as Buy Now, then you do not want to go over 300 words. As for non-CTA articles, it depends on what topic you are writing about. If your article is about how to gain more traffic, it should be less than 300 words.

The technical SEO community recommends that articles contain 40 or under words. As a rule of thumb, try not to take up more than 700 words if you're writing an article on technical SEO. Although, if you're in the SEO industry, you should know that the length of your article should depend on what you're writing about rather than just following a technical manual. I find that North of 500 words is too long for an SEO article.

People who understand more about business and marketing know that 1400+ words are not needed in an SEO article because most articles do not have anything to do with technical SEO. It should be more than 500 words but be short on some points.

The easier it is for you to read, the easier your article will be for people to understand and read. If you have a lot of unnecessary words, you might as well say them in a briefer manner that is easily understandable. If it is too long, people will find it hard to go through the entire content.

In conclusion, there is no definitive answer to how many words an SEO article should be. It depends on the objective, topic, and target audience of the article. It is important to focus on providing quality content that is informative and relevant, rather than solely focusing on word count.
