To generate a sitemap in Yoast, follow these steps:

  1. Install and activate the Yoast SEO plugin on your WordPress website.
  2. Once activated, go to the Yoast SEO option in your WordPress dashboard.
  3. Click on the "General" tab and navigate to the "Features" tab.
  4. Enable the "XML sitemaps" feature by toggling the switch to "On".
  5. After enabling XML sitemaps, click on the "Question mark" icon next to it to access the XML sitemaps settings.
  6. In the XML sitemaps settings, you can customize various aspects of your sitemap, such as the post types, taxonomies, and post statuses to include in the sitemap.
  7. Yoast will automatically generate a sitemap for your website based on your settings.
  8. To view and access your sitemap, you can click on the "See the XML sitemap" link provided in the XML sitemaps settings.
  9. This will take you to a page displaying your generated sitemap, which you can copy and submit to search engines or use for other purposes.

Remember to regularly update your sitemap whenever you make changes to your website's content to ensure search engines are always updated on your site's structure and content.
