To set up conversion tracking in Google Ads, follow these steps:
- Sign in to your Google Ads account.
- Click on the "Tools & Settings" icon in the top right corner of the page, and then select "Conversions" from the drop-down menu.
- Click the blue plus button to create a new conversion.
- Choose the type of conversion you want to track: website, app, or phone call.
- Enter a name for the conversion tracking and choose the conversion category that best describes it.
- Choose how you want to track the conversion. If you choose "Website," select "Use Google Tag Manager" or "Use a Google Ads Conversion Tracking tag." If you choose "Phone calls," select "Use a Google forwarding number."
- Follow the instructions to set up the conversion tracking. If you chose to use a Google Ads Conversion Tracking tag, you will need to add the tag to your website's source code or use Google Tag Manager to add it.
- Once the conversion tracking is set up, test it to make sure it's working correctly.
Once conversion tracking is set up, you can use it to measure the performance of your Google Ads campaigns and optimize your ads for better results.
