To use a proxy in Telegram, follow these steps:
- Open the Telegram app on your device.
- Go to "Settings" by tapping on the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines) at the upper left corner of the app.
- In the Settings menu, tap on "Data and Storage".
- Scroll down and find the "Proxy Settings" section. Tap on it.
- You will see a list of available proxy servers. If you don't have any proxy servers configured, tap on the "+" button at the bottom right corner to add a new one.
- In the Proxy Settings, enter the IP address or domain name of the proxy server in the "Server" field.
- Type the port number for the proxy server in the "Port" field.
- If your proxy server requires a username and password, toggle on the "Use Proxy Auth" option and enter the username and password in the respective fields.
- Tap on the "Save" button to save the proxy settings.
- You can now go back to your chats or use any Telegram feature, and it will use the configured proxy server for all the connections.
Note: Make sure you have accurate proxy server details to configure and use a proxy in Telegram.
