Firefox Send is a file-sharing feature developed by Mozilla, the creators of the Firefox web browser. It allows users to send encrypted files over the internet safely and privately. Here's how it works:

Encryption: When a user uploads a file to Firefox Send, it gets encrypted locally on their device. This ensures that only the recipient can access and decrypt the files.
Uploading: The encrypted file is then uploaded to the Firefox Send server. Firefox Send supports a maximum file size of 2.5 GB for unregistered users and 100 GB for users with a Mozilla account.
Link Generation: Once the file upload is complete, Firefox Send generates a unique link for the user to share with the intended recipient(s). This link can be copied and shared through email, messaging apps, or any other means of communication.
Set Expiry and Download Limits: Users can optionally set an expiry time or a limit on the number of downloads for the shared file. After the specified conditions are met, the file is automatically deleted from the Firefox Send server.
Downloading: Recipients of the link can simply click on it to access the files. They can then choose to download the files or save them to their preferred cloud storage service.

Firefox Send aims to prioritize user privacy and security. By encrypting files locally, implementing storage limits, and providing optional expiration dates, it adds an extra layer of control and protection to file sharing.
