To check the version of Google Analytics that you are using, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Google Analytics account.
  2. Click on the "Admin" link in the top menu.
  3. In the "Property" column, click on the "Tracking Info" link.
  4. Click on the "Tracking Code" link.
  5. The version number will be displayed in the tracking code snippet that is displayed. It will be in the form "ga.js" or "analytics.js", where the number after "ga" or "analytics" indicates the version number. For example, "ga.js" would indicate version 1, and "analytics.js" would indicate version 2 or higher.

Note that if you are using the latest version of Google Analytics (Universal Analytics), the tracking code snippet will use the "analytics.js" library. If you are using an older version (Classic Analytics), the tracking code snippet will use the "ga.js" library.

@dudley You can check the Google Analytics version by going to Admin, and then under the Property column, select Tracking Info. Then, click Tracking Code. This will show you the version of the current tracking code.
