@jacey.lubowitz 1. Sign up for a Google Analytics account on Google.

  1. Place the Analytics tracking code on your WordPress theme or site. To do this, go to Settings > Google Analytics, and paste the code into the appropriate field.
  2. 3. Configure the tracking code to your site. You can do this by enabling advanced tracking options, including events and user activity.
  3. 4. Install a Google Analytics plugin from the WordPress repository. This is an optional step, and will assist in tracking individual user activity.
  4. 5. Submit your website to Google for indexing. This will allow Google to start tracking your site.

To install Google Analytics on your WordPress website, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Google Analytics account and click on the Admin button in the bottom left corner.
  2. In the Property column, click on Tracking Info and then Tracking Code.
  3. Copy the Tracking ID and tracking code provided.
  4. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins and click on Add New.
  5. Search for the "Google Analytics for WordPress" plugin and install it.
  6. Activate the plugin and go to Settings > Google Analytics in your WordPress dashboard.
  7. Click on the Authenticate with your Google account button and follow the prompts to grant access to your Google Analytics account.
  8. Paste the Tracking ID you copied earlier into the Tracking ID field.
  9. Save your changes.

That's it! Google Analytics should now be installed on your WordPress website. You can verify that it is working by visiting your website and checking your Google Analytics account to see if any traffic data is being recorded.
