To analyze page paths in Google Analytics, you can follow these steps:
- Log in to your Google Analytics account.
- Navigate to the "Behavior" section in the left-hand sidebar.
- Click on "Site Content" and then "All Pages".
- By default, you will see a list of top pages on your website, sorted by the number of pageviews. You can scroll through this list to analyze each page individually.
- To analyze page paths, click on the "Entrances" tab. This will show you the number of times each page was the first page seen by visitors.
- To analyze the paths visitors took after viewing a specific page, click on the page's URL. This will open a new report that shows the "Pageviews" and "Exit" percentages for each subsequent page visited.
- To analyze the most common paths taken by visitors on your website, click on the "Navigation Summary" tab. This will display a visualization of the most common paths visitors took through your site, including the pages they visited before and after each page.
- You can also use the advanced filters and segmenting options in Google Analytics to gain deeper insights into page paths. For example, you can filter by specific traffic sources or user demographics to see how different audiences navigate your site.
By analyzing page paths in Google Analytics, you can identify popular entry and exit points, discover navigation patterns, and optimize your website's user experience.
