To set up a proxy on an iPhone, you can follow these steps:
- Go to the home screen of your iPhone and open the "Settings" app.
- Scroll down and tap on "Wi-Fi".
- Find and select the Wi-Fi network you are currently connected to.
- Tap on the blue "i" icon next to the network name to access its settings.
- Scroll down and locate the "HTTP Proxy" option. By default, it is set to "Off".
- Tap on "Manual".
- Enter the proxy server address and port number in the respective fields. You can obtain this information from your network administrator or proxy service provider.
- If your proxy requires authentication, toggle on the "Authentication" option and enter your username and password.
- Tap on the "Back" button at the top left corner.
- Once you are back in the Wi-Fi settings, tap on the Wi-Fi network name again to reconnect to it and apply the changes.
- Your iPhone should now be using the configured proxy server for internet connections.
