How can I disable or enable browser notifications in Brave?

To disable or enable browser notifications in Brave, follow these steps:

1. Launch Brave browser.
2. Click on the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner (the menu icon).
3. Select "Settings" from the menu.
4. Scroll down and click on "Additional Settings" at the bottom.
5. Now, click on "Privacy and security" from the left sidebar.
6. Scroll down to find the "Site and shield settings" section and click on it.
7. Look for the "Notifications" option and click on it.
8. To disable notifications, toggle the "Ask before sending (recommended)" switch off. This will prevent websites from requesting permission to send notifications.
9. To enable notifications, toggle the switch on.

Note: Disabling notifications will stop all websites from showing notifications in Brave, and enabling notifications will allow websites to request permission to show notifications.

Additionally, you can manage individual website notifications by clicking on the lock icon in the address bar while visiting a specific website. From there, you can customize the notification settings for that particular site.
