To manage multiple profiles in Firefox, follow these steps:

  1. Launch Firefox and click on the menu button (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner of the window.
  2. From the drop-down menu, click on "Help" and then select "Troubleshooting Information."
  3. In the Troubleshooting Information page, locate the "Profile" section and click on the "Open Folder" button next to "Profile Folder." This will open the profile folder in your operating system's file explorer.
  4. Close Firefox completely.
  5. To create a new profile, you can either use the Profile Manager or manually create a new folder in the profile folder directory.
  • Using the Profile Manager: Open the Run dialog on Windows (Press Windows key + R) or the terminal on macOS/Linux. Type "firefox.exe -p" (without quotes) on Windows, or "/Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin -p" (without quotes) on macOS/Linux, and press Enter/Return. The Profile Manager window will open. Click on "Create Profile…" and follow the prompts to set up a new profile.
  • Manually creating a profile folder: In the profile folder directory, create a new folder with a unique name. This will be the name of your new profile. Copy all the contents of an existing profile folder and paste them into the new folder you created. Rename the files inside the new profile folder to match the new profile's name.
  1. After creating the new profile, you can launch Firefox using a specific profile by invoking the Profile Manager and selecting the desired profile.
  2. To open the Profile Manager: Open the Run dialog on Windows (Press Windows key + R) or the terminal on macOS/Linux. Type "firefox.exe -p" (without quotes) on Windows, or "/Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin -p" (without quotes) on macOS/Linux, and press Enter/Return.
  3. In the Profile Manager, select the desired profile and click "Start Firefox" to launch Firefox with that profile.

That's it! You can now manage and switch between multiple profiles in Firefox. Each profile will have its own bookmarks, history, extensions, and other settings independent of other profiles.
