To manage website permissions in Firefox, follow these steps:
- Open Firefox web browser and click on the menu button (⋮) in the top-right corner.
- From the dropdown menu, select "Options" to open the Firefox settings.
- In the left-hand sidebar, choose the "Privacy & Security" tab.
- Scroll down to the "Permissions" section.
- In the Permissions section, you can manage various website permissions:
Camera: Allows or blocks websites from accessing your camera.
Microphone: Allows or blocks websites from accessing your microphone.
Location: Allows or blocks websites from accessing your location.
Notifications: Allows or blocks websites from showing notifications.
Pop-ups: Allows or blocks websites from displaying pop-up windows.
- Click on "Settings" beside each permission to manage specific exceptions for certain websites.
- In the Exceptions dialog box, you can add websites by entering their URL and choosing the permission level for them (Allow, Block, or Allow for Session).
- You can also remove any existing exceptions by selecting them and clicking on the "Remove Website" button.
- After configuring the permissions to your preference, click on "Save Changes" to apply them.
