To add separate Google Analytics for a subdomain, follow these steps:

  1. First, sign in to your Google Analytics account.
  2. Click on the "Admin" tab at the bottom left corner of the page.
  3. In the "Account" column, select the appropriate account you want to add the subdomain to.
  4. In the "Property" column, choose the website for which you want to add the subdomain.
  5. Under the "Property" column, click on the "Tracking Info" tab.
  6. From the drop-down menu, select "Tracking Code."
  7. Copy the tracking code provided.
  8. Now, go to the subdomain's website and open the appropriate HTML file.
  9. Paste the tracking code just before the closing tag.
  10. Save and publish the changes made to the HTML file.
  11. To verify if the tracking code is working, go back to your Google Analytics account.
  12. In the "Tracking Info" tab, click on "Tracking Code."
  13. Scroll down and click "Check Status" under the "Website Tracking" section.
  14. Google Analytics will verify if the tracking code is correctly installed on the subdomain.

Once verified, Google Analytics will start tracking the data for the subdomain separately from the main domain. You can access the subdomain's specific analytics by selecting it from the "Property" column on the Google Analytics dashboard.
