To disable the proxy settings in Windows 10, follow these steps:
- Open the "Settings" app by clicking the Windows Start menu and selecting the gear icon.
- In the Settings window, click on "Network & Internet."
- On the left side of the Network & Internet window, select "Proxy" from the options.
- In the Proxy settings section on the right side, under the "Manual proxy setup" heading, toggle the switch for "Use a proxy server" to the off position. This will disable the proxy.
- Additionally, ensure that the "Automatically detect settings" option under the "Automatic proxy setup" heading is toggled off.
- Close the Settings app, and the proxy settings should now be disabled.
Note: If the proxy settings are managed by your organization or network administrator, you may not be able to disable them on your own. In such cases, you may need to contact the administrator for assistance.
