To use a proxy on Windows, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open the Start menu and click on the "Settings" gear icon.
  2. In the Settings window, click on the "Network & Internet" option.
  3. From the left-hand side menu, select the "Proxy" tab.
  4. In the Proxy settings window, there will be two sections: Automatic proxy setup and Manual proxy setup.

Automatic proxy setup: a. Toggle the "Use a proxy server" option to enable it. b. In the "Address" field, enter the URL or IP address of the proxy server. c. In the "Port" field, enter the port number associated with the proxy server. d. You can click the "Don't use the proxy server for local (intranet) addresses" checkbox if desired. e. Click the "Save" button to apply the settings and close the window.

Manual proxy setup: a. Toggle the "Use a proxy server" option to enable it. b. Under the "Manual proxy setup" section, turn on the switch labeled "Use a proxy server". c. In the "Address" field, enter the URL or IP address of the proxy server. d. In the "Port" field, enter the port number associated with the proxy server. e. You can also specify certain addresses that should bypass the proxy by entering them in the "Don't use the proxy server for addresses beginning with" field. f. Click the "Save" button to apply the settings and close the window.

Once you have set up the proxy settings, all internet traffic from applications on your Windows device will be routed through the specified proxy server.
