To use a proxy on Windows, you can follow these steps:
Automatic proxy setup: a. Toggle the "Use a proxy server" option to enable it. b. In the "Address" field, enter the URL or IP address of the proxy server. c. In the "Port" field, enter the port number associated with the proxy server. d. You can click the "Don't use the proxy server for local (intranet) addresses" checkbox if desired. e. Click the "Save" button to apply the settings and close the window.
Manual proxy setup: a. Toggle the "Use a proxy server" option to enable it. b. Under the "Manual proxy setup" section, turn on the switch labeled "Use a proxy server". c. In the "Address" field, enter the URL or IP address of the proxy server. d. In the "Port" field, enter the port number associated with the proxy server. e. You can also specify certain addresses that should bypass the proxy by entering them in the "Don't use the proxy server for addresses beginning with" field. f.
