To enable a proxy in Chrome, follow these steps:
- Open Chrome and click on the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of the browser window.
- Click on "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
- Scroll down and click on "Advanced" to expand the advanced settings.
- Under the "System" section, click on "Open proxy settings."
- This will open the "Internet Properties" window.
- In the "Connections" tab, click on "LAN settings."
- Check the box that says "Use a proxy server for your LAN."
- Enter the IP address and port number of the proxy server you want to use. You can obtain this information from the proxy service you are using or from your network administrator.
- If the proxy server requires a username and password, check the box that says "Use a proxy server for your LAN" and enter the necessary credentials.
- Click on "OK" to save the changes and close the windows.
Once the proxy settings are enabled, Chrome will start using the proxy server for your internet connections.
