Private browsing mode is a feature available in Firefox that allows you to browse the web without your browsing history, cookies, and temporary files being saved. When you close the private window, all information associated with your browsing is deleted.

To enable private browsing mode, follow these steps:

  1. Open Firefox.
  2. Click on the menu button (three parallel lines) in the top-right corner of the window.
  3. Click on "New Private Window" from the drop-down menu.
  4. A new window will open, indicating that you are in private browsing mode.

Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl+Shift+P" (Windows) or "Command+Shift+P" (Mac) to open a new private window directly.
