To enable or disable the automatic password saving feature in Google Chrome, follow these steps:
- Open Google Chrome on your computer.
- Click on the three vertical dots at the top-right corner of the browser window.
- From the dropdown menu, select "Settings".
- Scroll down and click on "Autofill" in the left sidebar.
- In the Autofill section, you will see "Passwords" as one of the options. Click on "Passwords".
- Here you can toggle the switch next to "Offer to save passwords" to enable or disable the feature.
- If the switch is turned on (blue), Chrome will ask to save passwords for websites. If it's turned off (grey), Chrome will not offer to save passwords.
Note: By default, the autofill feature, including password saving, is usually enabled in Chrome. Disabling it means you will have to manually enter passwords every time you visit a website.
