To enable or disable the download protection feature in Firefox, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Firefox browser on your computer.
  2. Click on the menu button (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner of the browser window.
  3. From the drop-down menu, select "Options".
  • Alternatively, you can type "about:preferences" in the address bar and hit Enter.
  1. In the Options tab, click on "Privacy & Security" on the left-hand side panel.
  2. Scroll down until you find the section titled "Permissions".
  3. Under the "Permissions" section, look for the "Safe Browsing" option.
  4. By default, the "Block dangerous and deceptive content" option is enabled, which includes protection against downloads. To disable the download protection feature, uncheck the "Block dangerous and deceptive content" option. To enable the download protection feature, make sure the "Block dangerous and deceptive content" option is checked.

That's it! You have now enabled or disabled the download protection feature in Firefox.
