To enable or disable the session restore feature in Firefox, follow the steps below:
- Open Firefox and click on the menu button (three horizontal lines) located at the top-right corner of the browser window.
- From the dropdown menu, select "Options" (or "Preferences" on macOS).
- In the options/preferences page, navigate to the "General" tab.
- In the "Startup" section, you will see a dropdown menu next to "Restore previous session".
To enable session restore, select "Restore previous session". This will cause Firefox to restore all open tabs and windows from your previous session when you open the browser.
To disable session restore, select "Firefox Home (Default)" or "Blank Page". This will prevent Firefox from restoring your previous session and instead open a new tab or a blank page each time you start the browser.
- Close the options/preferences tab.
Now, Firefox will behave according to your session restore settings.
