To define google_tag_params in Google Tag Manager, you need to follow these steps:

  1. Create a new variable in Google Tag Manager: Go to your Google Tag Manager account. Navigate to the container where you want to set up the google_tag_params variable. Click on "Variables" in the left-hand sidebar. Click on "New" to create a new variable. Give the variable a name, such as "google_tag_params".
  2. Specify the Variable Configuration: Select the variable type as "Data Layer Variable". In the "Data Layer Variable Name" field, enter the name of the data layer variable that contains the parameters you want to define for google_tag_params.
  3. Save the variable configuration: After specifying the variable configuration, click "Save" to save the variable.
  4. Use the Variable in tags or triggers: Go to the tag or trigger where you want to use the google_tag_params variable. In the respective configuration field, you can use the {{google_tag_params}} variable.
  5. Publish the changes: After making all the necessary configurations, click on "Submit" and then "Publish" to push the changes live.

By defining the google_tag_params variable using the data layer, you can easily access and use the parameters within tags and triggers in Google Tag Manager.
