To set up Google Analytics for Drupal, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your Google Analytics account or create a new one.
  2. In the Admin section, click on the "Property" dropdown and select "Create new property".
  3. Enter the website name and URL for your Drupal site. Choose the appropriate industry category and time zone.
  4. Click on the "Get Tracking ID" button, and agree to the terms of service.
  5. Copy the tracking ID that appears (e.g., UA-XXXXXXXXX-X).
  6. Log in to your Drupal website as an administrator.
  7. Install and enable the "Google Analytics" module. You can find this module in the Drupal module repository.
  8. Go to Configuration > System > Google Analytics (admin/config/system/googleanalytics) in your Drupal admin dashboard.
  9. Paste the tracking ID into the "Google Analytics ID" field.
  10. Choose the tracking method you prefer (e.g., Universal Analytics).
  11. Configure any additional options according to your needs (e.g., excluding certain IP addresses).
  12. Save the configuration.
  13. Clear the cache of your Drupal website to ensure the changes take effect.

Google Analytics is now set up for your Drupal website. It may take some time for data to start appearing in your Google Analytics account.
