To set up Google Analytics for Squarespace, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to your Squarespace account.
2. In the Home Menu, click on the Settings option.
3. Under the Website tab, click on Advanced.
4. Under Advanced Settings, select External API Keys.
5. In the External API Keys section, click on Add API Key.
6. Choose Google Analytics from the dropdown menu.
7. If you don't have a Google Analytics account, click on Get Started with Google Analytics and follow the prompts to create an account.
8. If you already have a Google Analytics account, click on Connect Existing Account and follow the prompts to connect your Squarespace website to your Google Analytics account.
9. Once connected, you can choose the Google Analytics Property associated with your website and click on Add Account.
10. After setting up the connection, you can configure your Google Analytics settings by clicking on the Edit button next to the Google Analytics integration.
11. In the configuration window, you can enable features like demographic tracking and enhanced link attribution.
12. Save your changes, and Google Analytics will start tracking your Squarespace website's data.

Note: It may take up to 24 hours for Google Analytics to begin displaying data for your website.
